What is Reiki?
Reiki is a japanese system of energy Healing founded by Dr. Usui. It is an alternative medicine form of healing. Reiki has many benifits such as stress reduction, and relaxation of the Mind, Body and Spirit. It is administered by "laying of hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us. This energy is what causes us to be alive. If ones life force energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stressed. When our lirfe forece energy is high, we are more capbale of being happy and healthy.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words: Rei which means " Gods Wisdom" or "The Higher Power" and Ki which means "Life Force Energy."
